Benefit Dinners

 Family and friends gathered from everywhere recently for two benefit dinners for the Al Butler Fund.  One was September 24^th at DeMuro’s Top of the Hill Restaurant in Southwest Harbor and the other was October 19^th at Poor Boys Gourmet Restaurant in Bar Harbor .  All profits and tips where donated to the fund.  The food was delicious, the generosity was overwhelming. They not only dedicated their time, money, efforts, facilities and expertise, but they were the underlying factor in the success of this community spirited event.  It was heart-warming for Al and I to be with everyone. We felt very loved and  it reminds us of what a caring, giving and loving community we live in.   Thank you to all who made this such a tremendous success which helps us battle this debilitating illness and continue with the specialty treatments not covered by our insurance.  We couldn’t do this with out you.
