We hope everyone had a wonderful and healthy Thanksgiving.  We feel very thankful for all our wonderful family and friends who have been praying for us and sending us warm, loving, and caring messages.  It makes us strong plus feel very special and loved. Thank you from the bottom of our heart. We had a warm, loving and delicious Thanksgiving at my parents house.  Al hasn't been able to eat poultry, grain or dairy since October ( I have been trying to do the same) but Dr. Espy told him he could go all out on Thanksgiving , so needless to say we ate it all. Thanksgiving Dinner never tasted so good!
At this point Al is still doing better since his two week treatment in Mass.  He has lost a little strength in his upper body, but it is still better  than before he went.  His throat and speech are also still clear. He still has a lot of difficulty with his fingers and hands, so we have to remind ourselves that Dr. Espy said that area takes the longest to come back because the muscles and nerves are so small.  He will go back for another week of treatment at the end of January.  She will test him to see what is still holding and re-do some of that, plus hopefully work more on his fingers and hands.
We could never afford to do this treatment with out the donations to the  Al Butler Fund. Thank you one and all for your support.
He went to his regular chiropractor, Dr. Maykel, while we were in Worcester for Thanksgiving.  He needed some adjustment done because he had been in the woods trying to hunt for a deer.  No luck hunting. He said November was too warm and windy, plus the full moon didn't help.  Now we are busy  getting ready for Christmas.  We send our love and wish you all a Merry, Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year.  Love always,  Gloria and Al
